You have created dynamic, non-database-driven websites using Adobe ColdFusion 8. Most professionally-built and complex websites are powered by a database. In the Adobe ColdFusion 8: Level 2 course, you will build dynamic, database-driven websites.
Prerequisites: Students taking this course should first complete the Adobe ColdFusion 8: Level 1 course or have equivalent knowledge. Students will be especially well prepared if they also take the SQL: Fundamentals of Querying and Relational Database Design courses or have equivalent knowledge before attending this course.
The target students for this course are those who have added dynamic features to their website using ColdFusion and who want to connect their website to a database. They are those who will be developing their own solutions rather than using off-the-shelf components, those who might be familiar with another programming language, or those who have used UltraDev to develop their ColdFusion solutions. It is likely that their primary job responsibility is creating web pages.
